What This Test Measures
GlycanAge analyzes the glycan patterns attached to your IgG antibodies — the most abundant antibodies in your blood. These glycan structures shift predictably with immune aging and chronic inflammation, making them one of the most sensitive markers of biological age available.
Unlike epigenetic clocks (which measure DNA methylation), GlycanAge captures the functional state of your immune system. It tells you whether your immune system is running "hot" with pro-inflammatory signaling or whether it's operating in a balanced, anti-inflammatory state.
