Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective: November 2, 2026

This policy explains how Hillary Lin, MD ("we") handles consumer health data collected through the free guides and the biological age calculator on hillarylinmd.com. Patient records are covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

What We Collect and Why

  • Free guide requests: When you ask for a free guide (heart attack prevention tests, the supplement stack, brain health, or biological-age tests), we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, which guide you asked for, and the link that brought you to the page. We use them to send the guide, fix a delivery that fails, and count requests for each guide, and your email joins The Longevity Letter. The Letter does not use which guide you asked for. If you then tell us which best describes you (for example, considering care with Dr. Lin), we save that answer to tailor The Longevity Letter.
  • Biological age calculator: When you finish the calculator, we collect your age, sex, the answers, health conditions and lab values you enter, and your result, plus your name and email if you ask for an emailed copy. We use them to show, save and send your results, and an email you give joins The Longevity Letter.

Where It Comes From

From you, through the forms on this website.

Who Receives It

We do not sell consumer health data or share it with any third party or affiliate, including advertising and analytics companies. No advertising or analytics company collects health data about you across websites through these pages. Only service providers store and deliver it for us: email delivery, website hosting, document storage, and team messaging.

Your Rights

You can ask whether we hold consumer health data about you, get a copy along with a list of anyone it was shared with, ask us to delete it, or withdraw any consent you gave. Send a privacy request through our contact page. We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why within those 45 days and answer within 45 more.

To appeal our decision, send another privacy request that starts with "Appeal." We answer appeals in writing within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you can file a complaint with the Washington Attorney General.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
